Due to limited funding, only units enrolled at ÌÒ×ÓÊÓƵ and Saddleback College will be used to determine FSEOG eligibility. Units enrolled at other institutions and submitted to ÌÒ×ÓÊÓƵ through a Consortium Agreement will not count toward SSCG eligibility.
The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is a federal supplemental grant for undergraduate students with exceptional financial need. Funding for FSEOG is limited, particularly during the spring semester. We prioritize awarding this grant to students with the highest unmet need based on their financial aid file. Students will be considered for this grant if they have completed the FAFSA.
Due to extremely limited funding, it is possible for a student to meet the baseline eligibility criteria listed below and still not receive FSEOG for one or more semesters. Being awarded FSEOG in the fall semester does not guarantee you will be awarded in the spring.

About Federal Financial Aid Programs
You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for any of the Federal programs. You must be a U.S citizen or an eligible noncitizen to qualify for aid. If you are in default on a student loan or owe a refund on a federal grant, you will not be eligible for federal student financial aid until the default is cleared or the overpayment repaid.
