Attend Fast Friday to complete Step 2 in the Steps to Become an ÌÒ×ÓÊÓƵ Student. Participants will complete Orientation and Advisement, develop a First Semester Plan with ÌÒ×ÓÊÓƵ Counselors and have the opportunity to interact with current ÌÒ×ÓÊÓƵ students, faculty, and staff throughout the day. FREE lunch is also included — we’ve got you covered!
Attending Fast Friday will secure your front-of-the-line access with early registration!
Fast Friday is one way to complete Advisement and Orientation. If you're unable to attend a Fast Friday, Advisement and Orientation are offered bi-weekly on the ÌÒ×ÓÊÓƵ campus. Please visit the Admissions and Records Workshops and Events page to view our workshop calendar. These steps can also be completed online through your MySite Banner student portal.
Students who sign up for Fast Friday are required to participate in the event day. If you're unable to attend the entire session on any of the Fast Friday dates, please visit the Steps to Become an ÌÒ×ÓÊÓƵ Student to view alternative ways to complete placement and advisement.
NOTE: To qualify for FRESHMAN ADVANTAGE early registration time, you must complete all the Steps to Become an ÌÒ×ÓÊÓƵ Student by May 5, 2026.
Fast Friday* is from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm and are offered on the following dates:
*You must register with your ÌÒ×ÓÊÓƵ email address and password. All registered students are required to stay the entire time to receive credit.
