About Academic Notice
- Being placed on an academic/progress notice is a district-wide process (Irvine Valley and Saddleback Colleges).
- Students placed on an academic/progress notice are notified by email after each fall and spring semester.
- Students on an academic/progress notice in their last three enrolled semesters are subject to Academic Pause and will be notified of dismissal in such cases. First-time and dismissal notices can result in registration holds.
Since an academic/progress notices involves cumulative coursework, it may take several semesters to improve an academic/progress situation. With each successful class and semester you鈥檒l be closer to clear this status.
